About the Webmaster
Hi there! My name is Chloé and for as long as I can remember, I have been drawing.
I've always loved drawing a plethora of things, but my favorite things to draw are cute
character designs, animals, and pieces working with the color blue.
In terms of my artistic inspirations, I have quite a few! Aside from the many
artists who help bring Pokémon to life (i.e. Ken Sugimori, Mato, Satoshi Yamamoto),
I am also inspired by Osamu Tezuka, Hayao Miyazaki, Mamoru Hosoda, Hiromu Arakawa, and Yoshihiko Arawi.
A couple of franchises that have continuously inspired me are Pokémon, Mighty Atom/Astro Boy, and Klonoa.
Art, or simply the process of being creative, has always been my calling in some way or another.
I make art as a means of making myself happy, though I also wish to make others
smile as well when they look at my designs. That would be wonderful!
I am a bit shy at times, so my overall activity online can be rather sporadic. However,
I truly appreciate all the support I recieve! Thank you very much again for visiting my website.
Q + A
Who is the character scattered around your website?
That is Choco Sugarjolt, my mascot and my muse since I was in my early teens.
I originally had her as a Pokémon fan character (shocker)
but she later
evolved (pun intended) into her own being. Choco is a canine girl who loves to perform,
an element I kept from her original concepts starring her pop star adventures.
However, in college, I re-designed her once again and made her more based around the
frutiger aero/cybercore aesthetics that are becoming so popular again.
I love drawing in a Y2K-inspired style, so drawing my Choco is always super fun!
What programs do you use to draw and edit?
I've used a lot of programs over the years, but I use Procreate nowadays to draw. For my videos, I use CapCut.
If you were a Gym Leader/Elite Four member, what type would you specialize in?
It depends! For starters, I'd just be ecstatic to be in the Pokémon world. As For
my team, I think the options I'd likely go with are the Water-type (as I love the ocean),
the Fairy-type (because they are so cute and cool), and the Fire-type (I never go without one on my team).
However, I adore the Electric-type as well (Luxray and Jolteon!!), and some of my all-time favorites are Lucario, Absol,
and Latios/Latias, so I would be happy to create teams surrounding their respective types as well.
What's your music taste like?
EVERYWHERE. Seriously, my playlists are all over the place. I love all kinds of music,
but for the most part I listen to a lot of rock and metal. I also love listening to video game soundtracks. ♡
What's your favorite video game console?
The DS family, as well as the Wii. I also love the Game Boy, though I've never owned one personally.
